Why this jewellery doesn't turn
Most affordable gold jewellery is brass underneath. Brass contains copper, copper reacts with skin and moisture, and that reaction is what leaves the green mark on your wrist and the dull grey patch where the colour wore through. It isn't your skin chemistry. It's the metal underneath.
Every Bijoux Beirut piece is built on 316L stainless steel — the same grade specified for marine and surgical use — finished with 18K PVD gold plating. PVD bonds the gold in a vacuum chamber rather than dipping it in an electroplating bath, which is why the colour stays put through showers, sea water, sunscreen, gym sessions and Gulf summer heat.

You don't need to take these off. Shower in them, swim in them, sleep in them. If you want them to keep their shine longer, rinse off chlorine and salt water when you can, and spray perfume before you put jewellery on rather than after — perfume alcohol sits on the metal and dulls any finish over time.

Quick FAQ
Is this real gold?
No, and we'd rather say so plainly. It's 18K gold plating applied by PVD over a 316L stainless steel core. Solid gold at this price would not be possible. What you're buying is jewellery that looks like gold and survives daily life — which solid gold, frankly, doesn't, because you'd be too nervous to wear it.
Will it turn my skin green?
Green marks come from copper in brass. There's no brass in these pieces.
Can I wear it in the sea and the pool?
Yes. Rinse with fresh water afterwards when you can — chlorine and salt are hard on every finish, ours included.
Which pieces can I choose from?
Any seven from the bundle edit. Not every product on the site is included, so pick from that collection and the price applies automatically at checkout.
What if the colour fades?
Every piece carries our Lifetime Colour Warranty. If the gold colour fades or tarnishes under normal wear, email us your order number and a photo and we'll replace the piece free of charge, for as long as you own it.
What if something arrives faulty?
